Lavanya Karthik is a writer and illustrator of children's books and comics. She is the creator of the award winning Ninja Nani series of graphic novels. Her picture books have been shortlisted for the Hindu Young World Goodbooks Award, the Neev Award and the Atta Gallata Children's Book Award. When not writing or darwing, she likes to travel across the country meeting her young readers and conducting workshops on creative writing and illustration.
